7/16" PTFE NOVOLOID FIBER PACKING

This compression packing is supplied in Novoloid Fiber/PTFE supplied with a 7/16 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11770437-01. It offers the most economical repairable shaft seal for pumps and valves. Source specification: 1 LB. Box - Approx. 9 FT.

Novoloid Fiber/PTFE is specified for a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. This material stands up to oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. Exposure to molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature will shorten service life.

Typical settings include aggressive-media pipelines, food and beverage, and semiconductor fabrication.
