APG stocks the 0297750, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A square profile O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.75 in (19.05 mm). An o-ring cord stock eliminates long lead times on large-diameter custom rings.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, oil and gas, and aerospace.
