*7/8" BRAIDED FLEXIBLE GRAPHITE PACKING

APG stocks the 11710875-10, a Braided Flexible Graphite Compression Packing built to a 7/8 inch square cross section. A compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Source specification: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 26 FT.

It resists thermal shock, most chemicals across the pH range, and steam. Braided Flexible Graphite is known for conformability that seals imperfect flange faces and near-zero creep relaxation under load. It is not the right choice where highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids are present.
