Braided Inconel Wire is specified for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. The compound resists shaft wear, elevated temperature and pressure, and process media. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F. Applications involving over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush call for a different compound.

Typical settings include mixers and rotary equipment, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, and valves and agitators.
