7/8" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

Part number 11800875-10 is a G.F.O. Packing Compression Packing with a 7/8 inch square cross section. A compression packing seals the shaft while allowing controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the packing set. The catalog record notes: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 21 FT.

G.F.O. Packing is specified here for braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box and field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking. The material holds up against process media, shaft wear, and elevated temperature and pressure. Rated for service to approximately 550°F. It should not be specified for service in over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.
