*7/8" NON-ASBESTOS ARAMID FIBER PACKING

Part number 11780875-10 is an Aramid Filament Packing Compression Packing supplied with a 7/8 inch square cross section. A compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Source specification: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 20 FT.

It resists shaft wear, process media, and elevated temperature and pressure. Aramid Filament Packing is widely chosen for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. Rated for service to approximately 500°F. It is not the right choice where over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush are present.
