7GSW4D2400 is a yellow 304 Stainless Steel Class 600 Spiral Wound Gasket measuring a 24 inch nominal pipe size and a Class 600 pressure rating. In service, this spiral wound gasket alternates metal windings with a soft filler so the gasket recovers elastically through thermal and pressure cycling.

304 Stainless Steel is widely chosen for high mechanical strength and pressure capability, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. The material holds up against elevated temperature, chemical attack, and corrosion and oxidation. Exposure to galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades will shorten service life.
