Part number VBU90149 is an AS568-149 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm). A back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

It resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents.
