8-155 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

VBU90155 is an AS568-155 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 3.987 in (101.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.193 in (106.5 mm). In service, this back-up ring installs on the low-pressure side of an o-ring to prevent extrusion into the clearance gap at elevated pressure.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
