8-375 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

Ordered as VBU90375, this is an AS568-375 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.895 in (251.33 mm). The back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with ketones and esters or hot water and steam.
