8-376 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

APG stocks the VBU90376, an AS568-376 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.725 in (247.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.145 in (257.68 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
