AS568-453 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.525 in (318.14 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

The VBU90453 is an AS568-453 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.525 in (318.14 mm). This back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
