8-467 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

Part number VBU90467 is an AS568-467 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 18.955 in (481.46 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.505 in (495.43 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
