The H10X840 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 840 mm (33.071 in), a cross section of 10 mm (0.394 in), and an outside diameter of 860 mm (33.86 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists water, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs.
