9/16" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

11800562-05 is a G.F.O. Packing Compression Packing measuring a 9/16 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 25 FT.

G.F.O. Packing is specified here for controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft, braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. This material stands up to shaft wear, process media, and elevated temperature and pressure. Rated for service to approximately 550°F. Verify compatibility before use with over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.
