*9/16" PRELUBRICATED PTFE YARN PACKING

This compression packing is supplied in PTFE Filament Impregnated Packing supplied with a 9/16 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11690562-10. As a material, PTFE Filament Impregnated Packing delivers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and a very wide continuous service temperature range. The material holds up against strong acids and bases, oxidizing media, and steam. It should not be specified for service in elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery.
