Neoprene (Chloroprene) offers good resilience across a moderate temperature band, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. Expect good resistance to mild acids, refrigerants and ammonia, and sunlight and salt spray. Verify compatibility before use with strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons.
