Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for inherent flame-retarding characteristics and dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, moderate petroleum oil exposure, and mild acids. It is not the right choice where chlorinated solvents or ketones are present.
