A80278 is an AS568-278 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.984 in (304.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.262 in (311.45 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) offers proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. The compound resists sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, hot water, and high-temperature steam. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
