-317 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-317 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.912 in (23.16 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.332 in (33.83 mm), catalogued under part number A80317. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Aflas (TFE/P) is known for exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and excellent electrical insulating properties. Expect good resistance to amines and corrosion inhibitors, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and strong bases. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents are present.

It sees regular use in downhole tooling, geothermal equipment, and chemical processing.
