The A80449 is an AS568-449 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.525 in (267.34 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to high-temperature steam, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and strong bases. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) offers excellent electrical insulating properties and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives.
