This o-ring is supplied in AS568-005 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.101 in (2.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.241 in (6.12 mm), catalogued under part number A80005. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists strong bases, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and sour gas and hydrogen sulfide. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
