-015 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

Part number A80015 is an AS568-015 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) offers exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. The compound resists sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and hot water. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in downhole tooling, oil and gas production, and chemical processing.
