Part number A80019 is an AS568-019 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.801 in (20.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.941 in (23.9 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material holds up against brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oil and gas production, downhole tooling, and geothermal equipment.
