Ordered as A80042, this is an AS568-042 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and amines and corrosion inhibitors.
