This o-ring is supplied in AS568-045 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm), catalogued under part number A80045. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) offers high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists strong bases, high-temperature steam, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
