Part number A80124 is an AS568-124 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.237 in (31.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.443 in (36.65 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists strong bases, high-temperature steam, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in geothermal equipment, oil and gas production, and downhole tooling.
