A80142 is an AS568-142 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.362 in (59.99 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.568 in (65.23 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, hot water, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.
