-144 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80144 is an AS568-144 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.487 in (63.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.693 in (68.4 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material holds up against high-temperature steam, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and strong bases. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents.
