Ordered as A80157, this is an AS568-157 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. It resists hot water, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
