-158 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

APG stocks the A80158, an AS568-158 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.737 in (120.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.943 in (125.55 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to strong bases, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, downhole tooling, and oil and gas production.
