-209 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80209 is an AS568-209 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists hot water, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and high-temperature steam. Aflas (TFE/P) is known for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in geothermal equipment, power generation, and downhole tooling.
