As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) offers excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. It resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, strong bases, and sour gas and hydrogen sulfide. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
