-221 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80221 is an AS568-221 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.421 in (36.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.699 in (43.15 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists strong bases, hot water, and high-temperature steam. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.
