Part number A80227 is an AS568-227 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.109 in (53.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.387 in (60.63 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Aflas (TFE/P) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. It resists amines and corrosion inhibitors, strong bases, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents.
