This o-ring is supplied in AS568-248 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm), catalogued under part number A80248. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists high-temperature steam, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
