-261 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80261 is an AS568-261 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.734 in (171.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.012 in (178.1 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and strong bases. Aflas (TFE/P) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Typical settings include geothermal equipment, oil and gas production, and chemical processing.
