This o-ring is supplied in AS568-272 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 9.484 in (240.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.762 in (247.95 mm), catalogued under part number A80272. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. The compound resists high-temperature steam, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and sour gas and hydrogen sulfide. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons.
