This o-ring is supplied in AS568-338 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.1 in (78.74 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.52 in (89.41 mm), catalogued under part number A80338. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. Expect good resistance to high-temperature steam, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.
