This o-ring is supplied in AS568-339 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.645 in (92.58 mm), catalogued under part number A80339. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. It resists sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, hot water, and strong bases. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents are present.

It sees regular use in downhole tooling, chemical processing, and geothermal equipment.
