Product Specification

-
The A80340 is an AS568-340 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) is known for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. This material stands up to strong bases, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and high-temperature steam. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Typical settings include downhole tooling, oil and gas production, and power generation.

A80340 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.0112 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 3 3/8 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
