-356 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80356 is an AS568-356 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and strong bases. Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, oil and gas production, and geothermal equipment.
