This o-ring is supplied in AS568-360 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.27 in (159.26 mm), catalogued under part number A80360. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and high-temperature steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and excellent electrical insulating properties. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in oil and gas production, chemical processing, and geothermal equipment.
