Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. The material holds up against brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and strong bases. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents.
