-373 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80373 is an AS568-373 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.975 in (227.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.395 in (238.63 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for excellent electrical insulating properties and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. It resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where some chlorinated solvents or low-temperature dynamic service are present.

Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, power generation, and downhole tooling.
