Ordered as A80385, this is an AS568-385 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.375 in (415.93 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists strong bases, hot water, and high-temperature steam. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
