-388 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-388 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 18.953 in (481.41 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.373 in (492.07 mm), catalogued under part number A80388. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, high-temperature steam, and strong bases. Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
