-389 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80389 is an AS568-389 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 19.953 in (506.81 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.373 in (517.47 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. Expect good resistance to amines and corrosion inhibitors, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and high-temperature steam. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents will shorten service life.
