This o-ring is supplied in AS568-426 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.15 in (130.81 mm), catalogued under part number A80426. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists amines and corrosion inhibitors, strong bases, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) is known for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents are present.

Typical settings include chemical processing, power generation, and downhole tooling.
