-429 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80429 is an AS568-429 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.525 in (140.34 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. Expect good resistance to amines and corrosion inhibitors, strong bases, and sour gas and hydrogen sulfide. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas production, chemical processing, and geothermal equipment.
